Teenager Killed in Charles Town Accident

A 13-year-old was killed in a car accident in Charles Town on Sunday. He was being treated for his injuries at Children's Hospital in Washington D.C. when he passed away on Monday.

The victim was in an SUV that

was struck by a Toyota Camry while attempting to make a left turn onto U.S. 340 from Augustine Avenue in Charles Town.

Police believe that the victim's father, who was driving the SUV, was at fault in the accident. The victim's sister was also injured in the accident. She was treated and released for her injuries. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were also injured and treated at local hospitals.
